FSX key functions

What determines the function of each key or button in FSX? Is that all done in Standard.xml? Can it be edited manualy?

No idea, but you're best off de-assigning absolutely everything in FSX and re-assigning in FSUIPC (and have assignments vary by aircraft). Cheers, - jahman.

Yes, and yes. Be sure that you use the copy in your username applications data folder though, and NOT the one in the root FSX folder! The only reason you might wish to "carefully" hand edit the file is to add something that cannot be assigned either through the sims UI choices, or via FSUIPC.
