SKELETON PLANE black screen..

Hello,if i leave the NGX spinning in the page of fsx for a while it turns into a skeleton,i select another plane and the window is black and i have to shut down fsx and start again...its never happened with any other aircraft add on, freeware, payware or default? hot fix aug 16 applied last week.. James

Leffe sorry, i7 880 2.8 ghz with 8gb of ram nvida GTX260 HPE ELITE off the shelf, had it for a year or so.thanksjames

Also are you running Win7 64-bit?Have you also used Ryan´s graphic set up via Nvidia Inspector? / Leffe

I have seen such problems for different aircraft. As far as I could determine and read form the internet, forums, etc, it is related to lack of resources from your computer. The more demanding the aircraft and add-ons you are running, the more frequent you will see this skelleton plane and FSX crashes. If you are running Windows XP then your 8GBytes of RAM are limited to 3GB. You can play with the fsx.cfg file and try to minimize it but final solution seems to use an OS that can address more memory and manage it more efficiently. I have switched to Windows 7 and now all of this is part of the past, but 737 NGX has introduced a new problem (FSX crashes after 10 minutes or so) that I will post after searching for other related topics. All of this is useless if you are already using Windows 7. Can you post your full specs, including OS?

Then you should be good I think. Your problems could be an authentication issue. Btw, have you read the information pdf. includedwith the aircraft. There are some important info you should read. / Leffe
