January 6, 200422 yr We now have all of out approvals on using skins and are just trying to help those with low end machines so they can use this package as none of these AI planes are AI specific so the LOD is high and kind of frame rate heavy depending on your PC specshttp://www.x-plane.org/users/topgun/NEANGB...0Collection.jpghere are the AC you will need to get a head start on downloading P-3C Orion by Rick Sasala available in p-3c2k2.zip at http://www.avsim.com/ C-5A Galaxy by Rey Lopez available in rladsc-5.zip at http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military1.htmF-16C Falcon by Kirk Olson available in usviper.zip at http://www.avsim.com/KC135R Stratotanker by Rok Dolenec available in this package.KC135E Stratotanker by Rok Dolenec available in this package.C130 Hercules by Mike Stone available in sc130h.zip at http://www.pmstone.com/F15A Eagle by Kimitaka Nishida in f15c_coral.zip available at http://www.avsim.com/HU25A Guardian by Carlos Lindarte in hu25a.zip available at http://www.avsim.com/HH60J Jayhawk by Jordan Moore in HovercontrolJayhawk1 availabe at http://www.hovercontrol.com/HH60J Jayhawk repaint by Kirk Sunley in uscg_6010.zip available at http://www.hovercontrol.com/HH65A Dolphin by Antti Pankkonen in dauph2k2_102881.zip available at http://www.avsim.com/ HH65A Dolphin repaint by ARAKINO Terega-Nui in dauphus.zip available at http://www.avsim.com/ Afterburner and engine flame effects by Jan Rosenberg available in ab_f16_.zip at http://www.avsim.com/the A-10 is the only payware AC and it's $8 from Alpha Sim. hope to release this by this weekend, will be uploaded here once available.
January 6, 200422 yr Very cool!BTW, there is a good C-130 for AI...great on frame rates and easy to repaint, by Barry Blaisdell http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/premaircra...0_ai/index.html.It is freeware of course, and repaints are allowed. Also, there is a great AI F-16...again, easy on the frame rates. Check it out. File name is aif16c.zip here at Avsim. If you want the C-130 and/or F-16 done for a specific unit, let me know, and I'll whip them up for your package. It is good to see people interested in military traffic.
January 7, 200422 yr Thanks Grunt but this package will include 2 skins for each unit already. Mike MacIntyre has made up specific skins for each base with 2 tail numbers.Westoverhttp://www.x-plane.org/users/topgun/NEANGB...er%20tarmac.jpgBradleyhttp://www.x-plane.org/users/topgun/NEANGB...adley%20ANG.jpgPeasehttp://www.x-plane.org/users/topgun/NEANGBases/grab_000.jpgOtishttp://www.x-plane.org/users/topgun/NEANGB...ht%20flight.jpgThat AI F-16 just doesn't have the detail as KO's. Mike was working with the other designer and might do a Vt Reskin for people with low end PC's as well as a Lite Traffic BGL.Bangor, Brunswick, Burlington, Barnes and Quonsett all have 2 skins as well. Plus Otis also has the USCG airbranch there.http://mysite.verizon.net/mikew.mac/6009-1.jpgSorry Jim but we are doing strickly military AI traffic.
January 7, 200422 yr Is that a Coast Guard Falcon in the picture? The only one of these I've found around is payware, also. I use the Coast Guard repaint of Mike Stone's Beech 1900.
January 7, 200422 yr Cool, Being a New Englander myself I can't wait to see this package. I already made up some basic Military AI for the area but it's not real great. I'm using Ricks P-3 And the AI f-16 (with my own VT Tail). Make sure you put in a few Brunswick NAS P-3's doing touch and go's at KBTV once in a while.... the seem to do TNG's there about once a week.Brian
January 7, 200422 yr Brian, Michael MacIntyre who is our skinner is from Burlington also and we have our P-3's doing TnG's up there. All the heavies are doing TnG's but we allow the fighters do actually land and park at the ANG hanger. That USCG Falcon is freeware, the only payware is the A-10 from Alpha Sim because there are no free framerate friendly AC that work in FS9
January 9, 200422 yr Author Hi Brian,Thanks for your wonderful KBTV scenery. I used it as a base for my own personal KBTV mods for FS2002 and am now using it for FS2004. The P-3C's I did for my New England Military AI Aircraft Collection, now available here at Avsim in three parts along with TG's fourth part containing the New England Military Airbase AFCAD2 and traffic bgl files, are from the VP-26 Tridents out of Brunswick NAS who along with their sister squadrons do seem to love to come down to KBTV and fly practice instrument appoaches. I joked to my wife that they are responsible for keeping Lake Champlain clear of submarines, but I don't think she bought in. :)mwm
