How to perform a rejected take off

Recommended Posts

I tried to perform to rejected take-off after realising I hadn't set my flaps. I tried to cut the throttle and apply the brakes but TO-GO did not disengage and the autobrakes did not activate. What am I doing wrong and how does this compare to a RW situation? Thanks

Also, I forgot, did you set "AT override" to NEVER, or to realistic? There's maybe some difference. Someone else?
At override means when u have AT armed, even if you move your joystick throttle it wont have effect on the engines. It's better of us simmers because you dont have you hand on the NGX throttle...

Thats correct, but my point is: can you initiate RTO with pulling throttle levers back to idle and farther to reverse if you selected to never override AT in NGX options?

You still have to be at the speed at witch RTO becomes active. If not I think at 80 knot RTO is not engaged and you must brake manually. Also if engine is out revers thrust is not recommend as it would add lateral forces to the plane.
