August 27, 201114 yr Hi All I did see a post at some point about how to minamise this effect of the view tipping forward unrealistically when braking on landing, this can be minamised by changing some settings, anybody know where that is, thanks Wayne such Asus Hero Z690, Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080, I914900K, Kraken 360 AIO CPU Cooled, 96 GIGS Corsair DDR5, 32 Inch 4K by 3

August 27, 201114 yr Hi All I did see a post at some point about how to minamise this effect of the view tipping forward unrealistically when braking on landing, this can be minamised by changing some settings, anybody know where that is, thanks You mean you want to minimize the braking effect? If yes, do this: (presumming you use FSX) Search for this entry in the airplane.cfg of the plane you want to edit: [brakes]toe_brakes_scale=1.24 (This is from the default 737) Than edit the toe_brakes_scale. A higher number makes harsher brakes, a lower numer the opposide. I hope I could help. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
August 27, 201114 yr I honestly can't see what's so unrealistic about simulation inertia and it's effects while braking. Oh well. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
August 27, 201114 yr set Momentumeffect= No in camera.cfg. It will stop the view from tipping forward when braking etc. It will reduce head movement in the horizontal plane too, but not remove it entirely Tobias
August 27, 201114 yr if you meant the vc shifting effect.Under the same folder as fsx.cfg, find camera.cfgfind the VC section, edit momentum effect from Yes to No if you want to remove it from FO's view as wellgo to 737's aircraft.cfg , find FO view, change momentum effect from Yes to No Marcus Jian

August 27, 201114 yr I just try not to brake hard enough to put my head through it because that would mean I caused all my pax to faceplant into the seat in front of them. Remember, you want them to enjoy the flight so they will chose your airline again! Chris Hicks
August 27, 201114 yr I generally move my POV back two steps with keyboard commands (CTRL - enter i believe). It seems to fit a bit better with where the seat headrests are. I know the original POV is aligned with respect to Boeing recommendations, but moving it back two steps feels better and no longer causes clipping with the combiner when braking. Cristi Neagu
August 28, 201114 yr Author i do like the braking effect it just over done, i certainly would not remove it completely Wayne such Asus Hero Z690, Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080, I914900K, Kraken 360 AIO CPU Cooled, 96 GIGS Corsair DDR5, 32 Inch 4K by 3
