zone temp light

Recommended Posts

For the first time the zone temp amber light for the aft cabin came on. Up to then the circulating fans were on auto. When the light came on the temps were around 20deg. Not sure what to do. There is no reset and adjusting the fans did no good. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, CaptMac

Turn your temp for that zone from auto to something lower, press the reset on the packs panel, its between the indicator lights, just above the bleed switches.

You might also need to reset the Master Caution.

There is an issue with the trim air causing a zone temp overheat. The reason your temps show 20 is because the trim air valves have closed and the ducts have cooled. I have found if I move the associated temperature control knob one notch hotter or cooler and then reset the system and the problem goes away.
