Autopilot entry correct?

Recommended Posts

Hi... I tried to follow all instructions on the manual but my plane doesn´t follow th course given by the FMC automatically under autopiloting. Now I ve seen that the autopilot entry in the aircraft.cfg is set to 0. Mustn´t it be 1 to use it correctly?I attached a thumbnail of the original aircraft.cfg to show what I mean. The same with autothrottle. Perhaps someone can give me the answer I need.

I would say that the NGX does not use that file for much at all. It is way past the simple aircraft.cfg file. You need to give more information on what it is not doing. Which part of the fight are you up to. Could be the wind issue causing S-Turns, etc.

Hi just in case you havnt done this already you need to engage lnav and vnav to follow the fmc course, need to have both fds on and have a valid flight path programned in the fmc and last u need to engage cmd A ensure that lnav vnav and cmd A have the green light on, and that on the pfd it showing what you have selected to confirm what you have selected the aircraft will do.
