scenery

Recommended Posts

I am using fsx with window 7. I encountered a strange thing while flying from Munich (EDDM) to Gatwick (EGKK). When flying across the English Channel I came upon brown barrier (like a large wall). I was flying at 3000ft and when I passed through this barrier all of a sudden I was flying at 30000ft. This was a big suprise . I was close to Gatwick so I changed course to give myself time to lower my altitute down for landing. Has anyone seen this before, if so do you know what the fix is.I guess it has to do with the scenery settings. Ralph

Never heard of this before. Perhaps the English Channel is now part of the Bermuda Triangle.... LOL.gif Sounds like a layering problem in the Scenery Library but you need to provide more info about scenery installed. Can you replicate it by simply flying out of Gatwick across the Channel or flying from a Northern German location toward Gatwick? Perhaps this was a one time incident (which is still strange). This is like flying in FSX and suddenly you stall and lose altitude and crash then the sim throws your aircraft back up into the air. Never saw it go from 3K to 30K though. Best regards,Jim
