January 8, 200422 yr What's the best video card for FPS with respect to cost?Whatever happened to avsim.com/fsbench? 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
January 8, 200422 yr To compare this ATI Card to an nVidia card the FX5900SE from e-VGA compares well.9700pro retails 209.005900SE retails at 185.00 Dont know the pros to 9700pro but in a FPS test the two cards faired very close some times the ATI was slightly better/ some times the nVidia. One nice advantage is the e-VGA card comes with a free copy of Call of Duty which if you dont already own it lowers the cost by around 50bucks making the card 135.00. Not to bad when you compare the FPS from the test with the top line cards from both nVidia and ATI. However thats FPS to cost and theres more to video cards than FPS. However thats was your question and thats my take on it.NP
