This actually is not far from reality. A pilot on a BA BAC-111 in 1990, got sucked out the windshield when it failed, and the copilot had to land the plane. If it wasn't for an alert flight attendant, who happened to be on the flight deck a the time, was abe to grab onto his belt for the duration of the flight. The plane landed safely in Southampton, and the pilot survived! http://en.wikipedia....ays_Flight_5390
