When FSX crashes....

Recommended Posts

Ok, so NGX runs really well on my system. However, if I fiddle too much I can't even start FSX. To make everything ok again, I double click on 'Previous Flight' in my documents/flight sim x files folder. This may help those of you who experience unreliable startup. Contrary to my advice on previous posts I decided to crank up my processor speed using the ASUS overclock utility. I wound my E8600 up from 3.3GHz to 4.3GHz and ended up with few extra FPS but nothing startling - I even got a few odd crashes that I had never experienced before. If you are getting crashes just try reducing your clock speed slightl - it may be the answer in a few cases and you certainly won't lose much FPS. Andrew vincent
