September 2, 201114 yr Hi everyone, and thank you to HiFi for a great product! I just recently came back to flight simming and ASE was one of the first products I purchased after a great experience with it in FS9. I've searched around a bit for answer, but can't seem to find one, so here is my question... when flying at night and into what appears to be a haze or fog layer, the haze or fog lightens everything so I have a contrast between the objects in the distance (clouds or horizon). In other words, things that would normally be obscured become visible (albeit just the outline) in the layer. I am currently running FSX with sp 2, ASE with sp 3. I use the ENB series to darken things at night, but the problem is there with or without using ENB. Thank you for the help!
September 2, 201114 yr Author Hey Jim, thank you for the quick response! I currently have both fog layer generation and disable haze layer checked in the visibility options. Minimum surface visibility is set to 0. I can round up a screen shot if that helps? Thanks again!
September 2, 201114 yr Hi, Sure thing! But as you do that, change the time in FSX to day and take the very same shot under the daylight conditions. I have a very hard time processing any nighttime screen shots; usually they show me nothing.
September 3, 201114 yr Author Jim, I got this one figured out and it was due to some wonky textures I forgot I had installed. Thanks again for the quick response! FSX and ASE are looking great as always!
