September 7, 201114 yr Word Not Allowed's roadmap: Sandy Bridge -> Burning Bridge -> Ivy Bridge Just kidding hehe. If it's still in good shape, I doubt it won't last till IB is out at least, especially under water
September 7, 201114 yr Word Not Allowed's roadmap: Sandy Bridge -> Burning Bridge -> Ivy Bridge Just kidding hehe. If it's still in good shape, I doubt it won't last till IB is out at least, especially under water LOL Yeah, it's still live and kicking. Only problem, which exists from the beginning is occasional non-boot, happens like once a week or so, but it happens at 4.8 and 4.5 in same interval. And it's there since I got the board and the CPU, and exchanged board, RAM AND the CPU.I live with it... previous i7-920 also had some little bug. Who cares... as long as it works generally, it's OK.

September 7, 201114 yr Nobody with half a brain is going to by a second hand oc'd chip. You could've been running it at 5GHz 1.45V for the time you had it, practically killing the CPU.
