737NGX crashes computer haven't flown yet!

Recommended Posts

Hello PMDG & Users,Bought the 737NGX on the 14/8/11, up still now still can’t fly because it about 30seconds from starting the flight. The dam thing it crashes my computer. Getting a PO haven’t flown it yet. The version purchased & downloaded was V1.00.2888 & have since d/loaded again to version V1.00.2922. & still same issue.I’ve spent more time searching the forums than flying 737NGX. Can PMDG or some please help? I haven’t installed any liveries both listed on PMDG nor other flightsim webs.I have all the other PMDG aircraft for FSX, & no trouble with at all. Thanks MattG

Mate, with the problem you have indicated i would be logging it as a support ticket. When you say "crashes the computer", what actually happens?

Hello All, Thanks to those have responded, now I'm not very computer literate so please be patient. I’ve attached a picture of what pops up after the NGX crashes & can help, would like to be able get off the ground at least. Please keep in mind I do have all PMDG aircraft for FSX & this doesn’t happen to them. PMDG 737-800NGX - PMDG MD-11 - PMDG 747-400-400F-8I- PMDG jet stream Thanks MattG

Hey Matt, in order for us to see the picture you must upload it to an image sharing network, like imageshack or photobucket.

You need to put your system specs up or no one will be able to figure out your problem for sure. Are you using Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, MAC, PC,....? There's just so many variables, no one can guess.

An 0x000007f error indicates that the "kernel" (the core operating system program at the heart of your Windows installation) has experienced a type of internal fault that should normally never occur at that level. More often than not, it is a hardware issue. Bad RAM can cause it - either main system RAM, or the memory on your video card - or it could be a corrupt driver. Another possible cause is malware. Most likely the NGX is stressing your system to the point that the error manifests, while other, less-demanding add-ons do not. I'd suggest running a program that checks your RAM, like memtest86, updating your video card driver, and doing a complete system scan for malware. The software "malwarebytes" ( http://www.malwarebytes.org ) is probably one of the best free solutions for this.
