747-400 Overhead Panel

As a newbie to the 747 I was wondering if there was any way of making switches etc on the Overhead Panel more distinctive as I have a real problem in ascertaining if some switches are in the correct position.Any help would be much appreciated regards Brian

Ok solved the problem. The brightness setting was set too low. Thanks regards Brian
