RENO AIR RACES 2011.

Recommended Posts

Posting this has become somewhat of a ritual for me. But so has the Reno Air races. Sorry for the redundancy, but its one for the PMDG team actually. Not only is this a chance to personally thank RSR for the planes( last year J41, Year before MD11 etc), but this place is pretty cool. military shows, like the f-22, F18 C130, you name it. Its pretty wild watching the WW2 era planes flying around plyons at 500 feet AGL and 500 KTS. And the noise... RSR owns a T-6 texan and you can always find him in the pits with a close eye on Gracie 8 , the team, and of course his family. Sometimes you can spot Ryan and his Dad. Rob is always graced by fans too, and you will have no problem asking him all the questions you want. (sorry Rob) Reno is close to Lake tahoe( 45mins) if you need something to convince the wife. Now I could go on and on about how cool it is, but you just go over here to the website and check it out. Sept 14-18. http://www.airrace.org/ Hope to see you guys thereCheers

Now he's going to have to bring a forum moderator along to stave off all the people who bought the NGX asking him what will the next SP include :(

That's actually RSR's plane right on the front page of the Air Race website, the Blue SNJ at the bottom of the background image. My support cohort Paul is there this year as well helping out with maintenance stuff on the plane.
