When I first started "multi-computer" simming, I found Synergy did the trick. For one reason or another it failed me in certain features so I ended up paying an exhorbitant amount of money for Multiplicity, which turned out to be really squirrelly. I've been using Input Director which is freeware, and I am REALLY happy with it! I wish I'd found it BEFORE I gave Stardock 40 or 50 bucks! [ http://www.inputdirector.com/ ]
