Janet PMDG NGX for the "Secret Shuttle" Mission

Recommended Posts

Don't forget to add some spaces between some of the codes. I added them whe I was posting, but the server removed them. I'll try to repors using dots in the place of spaces. That way you just change the dots for blanks. EDIT: MERCURY.................MCY..NDB..36.627461-116.027529326.00N PYD.....................PYD...36.962500-115.979167 AREA 51.................AR5112 05500123 37.234366-115.810737000.0012304451AREA 51.................AR5130 05500303 37.219020-115.794020000.0030304451AREA 51.................AR5114R11960143 37.265334-115.816760000.0014304451AREA 51.................AR5132L11963323 37.219584-115.792615000.0032304451AREA 51.................AR5114L23000143 37.248162-115.800233000.0014304451AREA 51.................AR5132R23000323 37.217848-115.784245000.0032304451 One thing: If there's only ONE dot, DO NOT remove it. Only change dots to spaces where there's TWO or MORE dots.

EG&G (aka Janet) 737-600 is already painted btw... tongue.png
Great news, Ryan. Since PMDG finds a way for everything, could you find a list of the equipments available in the Janet's 737s? j/kI'll definetly download this one and maybe do my my premiere of the -600 with Janet's livery.

The Janet -600's are mostly ex Air China birds. I'll look up some cockpit photos to match the equipment the best I can.

Good catch. I read about it in Wikipedia, but forgot about that. I'll try to find some pics later as well.

I appreciate that! It was my second repaint. It's a good one to do for practice if you're a nOOb to repaints, like myself.

Ok. I've tested that coordinates that David gave me and they are not right. I'll try to find a way to convert those coordinates I had in decimal minutes to decimal degrees. I also have to set a "before engine start" panel state so that everything is already set up for start-up when the mission starts.

Sorry guys, haven't read this whole post, but assuming you are trying to get the co-ordinates for the flightplan into the FMC, can you import FSX flightplans into the NGX FMC (I ask because I have never tried). But the flightplan for the mission is under FSX/Missions/Pilot For Hire/Secret Shuttle. Just figured I would mention that in case it would work for you. Or maybe convert into something else? I dunno, just tryin to help out.

I FOUND IT! Finally found the right position of Pyramid. It's matching FSX's flight plan now. I'll repost the all the lines that have to be added to the NAVDATA: Go to you Flight Simulator's root folder, go to ...PMDG/Navdata and: Add the following to Airports.dat: AR51 37.247350-115.814169 Add the following to Wpnavaid.txt: MERCURY.................MCY..NDB..36.627461-116.027529326.00N Add the following to Wpnavfix.txt: PYD.....................PYD...37.065666-115.733000 Add the following to Wpnavapt.txt: AREA 51.................AR5112 05500123 37.234366-115.810737000.0012304451AREA 51.................AR5130 05500303 37.219020-115.794020000.0030304451AREA 51.................AR5114R11960143 37.265334-115.816760000.0014304451AREA 51.................AR5132L11963323 37.219584-115.792615000.0032304451AREA 51.................AR5114L23000143 37.248162-115.800233000.0014304451AREA 51.................AR5132R23000323 37.217848-115.784245000.0032304451 ATTENTION!!! You have to change the dosts for spaces. Each dot correspondes to one space you have to add. Remove the dots and put spaces in their places. But beware: where there's only ONE dot, DO NOT remove it. Only switch the dots where there are TWO or MORE of them clustered toghether. Let me know how it's working for you. BTW, there's another update on MS Flight. More screenshots: http://www.microsoft.com/games/flight/ Cheers!

Sorry to resurrect a dead topic, but PMDG just posted a pic of the -600 with the Janet repaint on the Facebook page. Very excited about getting to use it for the "Secret Shuttle" mission!
