Uninstall and reinstall of FSX

Recommended Posts

After uninstallimg and reinstalling and checking to make sure there are no hidden FSX "nuggets" anywhere and also following the instructions setting up a new path for the installation (C:\FSX) I go to reinstall. I receive a message saying there is already a copy of FSX on the system and continues to load to the default location. Can anyone point in the right direction and what I may doing wrong? Thanks.

During uninstall have yout ticked the 'remove saved flights' e.g. as well? Maybe the install routine sees these files and want to install FSX into the old path again for that reason.
