Couple of Weather/ASE Questions Please

Recommended Posts

Please forgive me if I'm missing this in the manual, but I am still finding my feet with this addon, and only just beginning to 'play' with some settings. Is it possible to 'set' gradual visibility layers with ASE, so that it doesn't (like FSX weather) jump from 1mile to 40miles when climbing through the transition for example? post-122803-0-76193000-1316033192_thumb.jpg Also, when using different vis layers with FSX weather, the lower layer is ignored by any later layers etc. So, if there's a low vis layer up to 2000ft then clearer, it becomes clear to AGL once over 2000ft. Can ASE stop this happening? Thanks

Hi, Set the visibility graduation ceiling at approximately the altitude you fly at and ASE will adjust the visibility as you climb and descend. Please don't mess with any of those screens in ASE. I think you are just using those as examples, but I am just making sure! Yes, to all your questions.

Thanks Jim, and yes, just examples. I set user controlled and then leave well alone.
