Elevator Question on 114

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,Just got the Commander 114. The elevator is way too sensitive to me more than I would like. I played around with a few numbers in the aircraft cfg. Elevator effectiveness, high alpha, and I think pitch. I would like to know if there is a patch out there or if not, what should I set these numbers to and what parameters would I change exactly. I never flew the 114 but it seems off. It's like flying a piece of balsa wood when I push or pull the yoke....if that's a good example? I do notice a slight improvement from what I did, but did not know if lowering or raising the numbers....which will dampen the effect so it is not too sensitive? The roll feels great, just the pitch is the problem. Thanks for your help. I hope I made sense. Best regards, Jeff

Just an update.... I got things much better now. After a bit of trial & error, she flies much smoother. The only thing that still bothers me a bit is how she lifts off the runway on takeoff, but still an improvement. Really didn't think I would enjoy the 114, but she is very nice indeed. Best regards, Jeff
