pausing or "stutter" upon touchdown

Anyone else notice that on some touchdowns there is a brief pause or stutter when landing? It is more pronounced on a hard touchdown or bouncing makes it happen more often? What is going on? More calculations that effect the airplane or something? I do not have this issue with other add-on jets... 6 gig of system RAM ought to be enough but is it this add-on is too strong a system resource user? I have tried disabling the touchdown sounds sections in the sound.cfg but that doesn't help so I think there is some calculation going on here upon landing? hmmmm.... could it be ezdok bumping instead?

Pretty sure you're right about it being the sounds. Don't think there's much that can be done besides keeping your harddrive defragged.
