What's wrong with my installation?

Just purchased and installed the product for FS9. After installation (including VB C++) and reboot of PC, starting the sim and selecting the aircraft I have found these 2 horrible situations. http://i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss261/ideoplastic/main2d.jpg http://i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss261/ideoplastic/vcview.jpg As you can see the both 2D and VC panels are not displaying correctly, must confess never had this problem before with any PMDG product. Would appreciate some feddback, my specs immediately below. Windows 7 Home Premium 64 with Service Pack 1CPU Type QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 3000 MHz (9 x 333)Motherboard Asus P5E3 WS Pro4096 MB DDR3-1066 DDR3 SDRAMNVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 (1024 MB) LG W2442(HDMI)

After uninstalling and reinstalling the aircraft, everything seems to be working OK - Why it didn't work first time around is a mistery to me.
