Wired moves in VC aircraft rotates.. (FSX issue)

Featured Replies

This is NOT a NGX related, but FSX issue. I've changed my cockpit setting removing MomentumEffect and DynamicHeadMovement effects. All I wanted was using VC like 2D panel but it still remains one problem - see the video.

* every 180degrees, head rotates a round. 2 rotates for 360degrees. I remember there is a post about removing acceleration effect, but this is a different one.Anyone knows removing this circling in VC motion? It conctantly changes my cockpit view and I can't pinpoint my cockpit view. Really annoying :(

Try to zero all the values under [DynamicHeadMovement] in fsx.cfg and see if it works for you. BACKUP fsx.cfg BEFORE you do it!!!

To be fair this is not the FSX support forum, this is the PMDG support forum

I believe there is always a little head movement in FSX that can't be removed even by setting everything to zero. For me it seems to move based on changing heading.

Uhhh. Can I ask why your airplanes need to be able to break dance?

I've already done that.. even changed MomentumEffect=no. And thank you for reminding me to back up!

You're right. But following your logic, people asking about CPUs and Performance should not write here.Honestly I hesitate writing this post here but decided to do it for simmers who might struggling with this issue - like me.Wish it is helpful for you if the solution came out..

Yes it is based on changing heading..This movement is completely useless and don't needed for anyone.. That's why I want to know how to remove this.. :) Well.. sadly we have to fly with break dancing VC in FSX world..

You should have asked in the pmdg general forum, not in the 737ngx

Di, can you please stop policing the forums so much and leave it to the actual moderators. If you must insist, there are about 5 or more different topics on the upcoming service pack which all have the same content. The guy was only asking a question and I don't see the harm in it. Sarah Guiney

If your in the NGX cockpit, I say this is the place for your issues!

Well, I enjoy watching the SAMODS (self appointed moderators) doing their thing. It's a bit like watching a security guard who thinks he's a police officer. You know the guy. As he proudly guards the grocery store, he flares his chest and weilds his flashlight in hopes of intimidating would-be petty criminals. But nobody takes him seriously. Instead, we just watch him and laugh, thinking to ourselves how cute he is. And, feeling so sorry for him since he obviously wanted to be a police officer but couldn't make the cut. So cute!

So.. could anyone can help to remove this effect in VC? It is really annying with fixed viewpoint.. I can see altimeters at certain heading, but cannot see even aircraft symbol in ND at approach heading.Because eyepoint is circling by heading turns.. How can I remove this ugly headbanging?

In the PMDG General forum (where this post should have been posted) Tabs explained that you can't get rid of that movment. It is hardcoded.

My big thank you John.. despite my wrong placement of question. (already explained above posts)It's so sad :(

Peter Chang

Yeah it is. But I would recomend TrackIR or TrackNoIR if you want the cheap version. I have bought one some month ago and I can't fly without it anymore. VFR or an circling approach with the 737 makes so much fun with it. It is just awsom. And it will help you to didn't notice that head movment anymore, because you move arround at your own ;)

Why do some people make such a fuss, he was only asking people for help, whats the problem? There are people here who may like to help.It should have in another forum perhaps, but its not the end of the world. lloyd jones
