Radeon 6650M

Recommended Posts

Dear All, I have just bought the new latest and greatest Vaio Z laptop with all the bells and whistles. It comes with 8GB Ram, latest dual core i7 processor, SSD and 1GB graphics card from Radeon - the 6650M. I presumed that with all this horsepower, I'd be able to enjoy FSX and the new PMDG 737 without problems. Surprisingly, and annoyingly, I'm struggling to get over 15fps with moderate settings on the sliders. Has anyone else experienced these problems? Is is something to do with my graphics card not being from nVidia? Many thanks in advance for any assistance... It would be good to get up and running... Cheers, Greg

Yes it is Windows 7 64bit... could it be that my graphics card supports DX11 and therefore struggles with the DX10 of FSX? I've never heard of the ******* tool... what is this? Thanks for your thoughts...
