Hello, I generally don't try to fix things that are not broken so I haven't updated my drivers in a long time. Since my drivers are two years old, I think it may be time for an update. I'm still using Nhancer 2.57 and Nvidia 195.81 drivers. Can anyone suggest a good place to start with a new driver choice? Maybe someone that has my card? Nvidia is suggesting 280.26. BTW, I know that I need to ditch Nhancer for Nvidia Inspector. 1. I was reading through a few recent threads and I noticed people suggesting that they use the Nvidia auto uninstall features. I was always under the impression that drivers must be updated manually to get rid of the old driver completely. This is what I have always done: *Uninstall all video drivers using add/remove programs*Boot in safe mode and run driver sweeper, reboot.*Install new drivers Is this no longer valid? 2. Do I need to do anything special when I uninstall Nhancer? 3. Do I need to remove my CPU OC before I update drivers? 4. Do I install the new driver first and then Nvidia inspector? Thanks for the help.

When you run the installer, click manual install (or custom install cant remember which), tick the Fresh install option. The current drivers will uninstall, installer will ask to reboot, reboot, it automatically installs new drivers. NHancer is a simple add/remove programs install and installing Inspector is simple install. After all this, maybe run CCleaner a few times to make sure the registry is clean

Thanks NGX. So you are saying that driversweeper is no longer necessary?

Thanks, I think I will tackle this tomorrow. Happy hour has started in my house and that is a bad time to update drivers.
