Hi, I'm trying to get my ASE working with FS9 and FSX in a network. With F9 it is working fine, but I can't get to work properly with FSX. I have tried to follow the instructions point by point. But there are some issues that I'm not shore if I'm understanding them right. In the file there I should fil in the IP-address. Should it be the address to the server also on the servercomputer? When I'm suppose to test the network connection with the AI-traffic, from which computer will I do that? Edit: Forgot to say that on ASE computer I'm running Vista wireless and on the compute with FSX I'm using W7 64 Bit with wire

Glad things are working for you and thanks for including your full name (something new we're trying to enforce). Let us know if there's anything else we can help with!

Hello, It depends, most computers probably will not notice a difference. The main benefit is that it runs on another monitor/keyboard so you can use it as a companion to FSX while FSX is in full screen mode (vs. just the XGauge).

No need to have "another - keyboard". There are several options for useing the same keyboard and mouse on multiple computers. I have used "synergy 1.3.1" for years with no problems, and I like it very much. The only time you would need a secondary mouse and/or keyboard is for bootup to look at BIOS settings as synergy is not activated until bootup is completed. Good luck:RTH

Yes a KVM switch or software solution is also possible of course! I like having it separate myself...
