ATC voice active even when in FSX menu is disabled?

I know this might not have anything to do with the PMDG but when i am flying the NGX i still have the annoying ATC voice which is not good when flying online for instance. Is there anyway to kill it ? Thanks Michael

Others may have a better answer, but the one time I tried VATSIM flying, I set AI traffic to 0% in FSX.

Silence your com radios or tune them away from ATC frequencies.

This solves the problem for me, start FSX, go to "SETTINGS", "SOUND", and uncheck "Voice" this will turn off the default ATC and all ai traffic, ai traffic will still fly you just wont hear them. Hope this helps. -Travis

thanks but it still kills the NGX engine sound whent the AI ATC is on
