Boeing 767 for FS X

Recommended Posts

Gentlemen: I would like to have a good add on 767 for my FSX. As I dont like the FMC system it has to have or permit the GPS system as the original 737 in FSX.Any sugestions on the matter. Many thanks, Jose..

I think you're only option then is either a freeware plane with the default 737 VC merged into it, or the CLS 767. I'm not sure the CLS 767 has the GPS, though, but it sure is a nice model, looking at those screenshots.

Jose..You can put the FSX defualt GPS in ANY aircraft you want. For instance i have it in A2A's B17... :) As there is not a NAV/GPS button i use the gps poped up, following it with heading select in Autopilot

If you want a decent looking 767 which will fly off a simple GPS type plan in a manner similar to the default FSX aircraft, then this is the one you want: http://www.aerosim.c...767300fsx_e.htm Note the product details below the main picture on that site, which explains that the 'fmc' on this is basically a very simplified version that loads an FS flight plan and flies it with one click of a button (so not hard to use at all). To quote their site: When you fly with the FSX flightplan, pressing the LNAV commands the aircraft to follow the flightplan route. The Aerosim 767-300 is somewhat expensive for what you get, but it is FPS-friendly and a nice, accurate model with the interior modeled. On the plus side, there is a paint kit for it and there is an Avsim support forum for AeroSim too. I have quite a few AeroSim aircraft for FSX, and apart from the fact that they are a bit pricey compared to a lot of other ''lite'' simulations of airliners, I'd certainly recommend them to people who either want a simple to use, good-looking airliner, or those who want something they can soup-up with additional stuff, which is what I have done with their 777 and 747-400D. I have the CLS 767 and it is a nice aircraft with very nice graphics. I'm pretty sure it has the default GPS - I know mine does but I can't remember if it came with it or I added it. It does not have a usable FMC so I would assume it does come with the package. https://www.commerciallevel.com/webshop.php?actie=pshow&pid=98&num=1 The packages comes with the 200 and 300. There are also expansion packs an lots of free paints available. One of the problem I have had in the past with Aerosim is their products are not that popular; therefore, there are not a lot of paints availble (except for their L1011).

Alternatively a simple 767 to fly is the Just Flight product.

Pretty sure the Just Flight one is the CLS one.
