Morse Code LOC and DME

Recommended Posts

I cannot get the 737 to consistently give me the Morse code to use for identification of the LOC. I have tried several variations of pressing the buttons on the COMM panel for each radio. I have also used the CTRL 1 through 4 with no success? I have also looked in the INTRO to see if I am missing something and cannot seem to find an answer. If anyone has a solution please let me know. ThanksDon

First of all, make sure you have the correct VOR Frequency(There are some VOR frequencies that are different from the real ones, check the FSX VOR frequency). And also make sure you are in the VOR range. Then press either the NAV 1 or NAV 2 button in the image. You have to wait a few seconds for the sounds to come.

I have done all of this already and flown numerous ILS approaches using the approach plates on airnav.com. I am only trying to get the audio to work. I have also clicked on the SPKR, MKR, and NAV 1 and 2 depending on the radio being used.
