Setting the correct time

I have tried unsuccessfully to set the GMT. On POS INIT 1/4 when I try to enter the correct time the FMS enters random times and has the wrong date. Also when I try to set the UTC time in the VC the screen blanks and reloads the flight. This happened also on the MD11. What is the correct procedure? Is anyone else having this issue? ThanksDon

When you load into FSX, just choose the current GMT time in the Date/Time selector plus a minute or so to compensate for loading into the sim... Should put you almost dead on for time and one minute or so won't matter much.
