I`d hazard a guess English is not his mother tongue, he has the 8800 and uses that version. What he`s saying is use the most up to date version for your card. I could be wong, but thats my take on it. Whereas the post immediately before mine is probably the info you want. Steve

Oké thanks, I use latest driver 280.26.But only want to know if people are getting better result with older drivers ????But it seems not!! And you can also download nvidea drivers from http://downloads.guru3d.com/Is there any difference exept than the driver number with the driver from http://www.nvidia.com/ ???? Robert
Hi mate,I don't think so. All the drivers are made specificly for each card, in your case the GTX560ti. I'm also planning to buy a GTX560ti, is it any good? Are you happy with the card? No issues like overheating or panel freezes? Thanks in advance,

They said in the PC Pilot that the GTX560 was on of the best for FSX !!!!Also if you search on the internet!Only I bought the TI version one week ago and until now I am happy with it!Copper heat-pipes that make direct contact with the GPU that helps improve cooling by 20% when compared to the NVIDIA reference design. No problems so far!! http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1540/1/ Good luck!

I've been using the GTX560ti for about two months now, and without question it is the best Nvidia card I've ever used with FSX in terms of framerates and stability. My previous cards (over the last 4 years) were the 8800, 280 and 470. All worked reasonably well except the 470, which developed a defective RAM module when it was 6 months old, causing BSODs when the card was put under a load. I use the GTX560Ti on an 2600 K7 system, moderately overclocked. In FSX, I have FS Global Ultimate terrain mesh. Ultimate Terrain, GEX and REX. Even at graphically-intense add-on airports like FSDT JFK, I regularly get 30-35 FPS in the NGX, with no micro-stutters or artifacts, and the card runs quite cool under load. Not sure which driver version I have at the moment, as I'm not at my FSX computer. It's running whatever driver was current on the Nvidia web site about two months ago, when I purchased the card. (Just about a week before the NGX was released.) I've never had a panel freeze in the NGX, even with the original RTM version - but I can say that older complex add-ons, like the PMDG 747-400, MD-11 and the Maddog all run more smoothly with the GTX560 than they did with any of my previous GPUs.
