October 14, 201114 yr I had the same problem too, and I solved it following this simple steps: Uninstall Airbus XUninstall NGXInstall NGX againForget Airbus X (I love Airbus, but up to date there is no good simulation of this great aircraft. Airbus X is very pleasing to the eye, but it doesn't offers much more than it has by default FSX, and many performance and stability problems too. Perhaps if they go on with the announced new version (Airbus X Professional, i think)... It's frustrating for many Airbus lovers such me, but is the reality.) lol
October 14, 201114 yr Author This is correct - do NOT load the NGX over top of other aircraft, you're asking for trouble due to the way FSX works internally, there's variables and stuff that can't be reset. Even loading one NGX over another can cause problems (ie switching liveries). I did not load the NGX above the Airbus. I tried shutting FSX down completly (And even restarted my computer) but the problem still exists. What can I do? good advice from someone who actually is flying A320. dont even think about flying this/calling that aerosoft thing an airbus. its far from being that. I know that it is far from being even close to an real Airbus, but it is just looking to nice ;) (Even you Airbus haters on this forum must agree to that). That's why I own it, not because of the systems. Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

The AirbusX as it is is a pretty empty shell, nothing more.I had hoped PMDG would jump in and make a good A320 in the same quality we're seeing now for the 737NG, but apparently that's not going to happen. October 14, 201114 yr Nothing wrong with airbus, we are all lovers of aircraft here..... I hope. We just need a great pmdg like airbus. Maybe A380? Ashley Allen

October 15, 201114 yr In defence of the Aerosoft Airbus X, which I own, I think it's a very worthy addon. Sure, it's not the NGX and I'm sure we'll all agree, there probably won't be anything like the NGX for quite some time. However, I found the Airbus X a great introduction to flying a real aircraft like the NGX. It's found a niche in the market, between the default and more serious airliners from the likes of PMDG, Captain Sim and others. Sure, I no longer fly the plane now I have the NGX, as there's simply too much to learn that I don't have time for my attention to be diluted by hopping into the Airbus. But I sincerely believe, regardless of it's associated failings, that it's established a place in the market for those guys who don't want to spend all their time learning the intricacies of the NGX or spend half an hour preparing for a flight! IMO, it comes under a lot of flak, which would probably be justified if the aircraft had been put forward as a serious contender to the NGX or other similar planes, but it's an addon that has to be accepted for what it is; a highly detailed, stunningly attractive design that fills the needs of many simmers who place eye candy before realism. October 15, 201114 yr the problem is, it only looks like an airbus (i have to say, the cockpit is the best replica i have seen in flight simulator for an airbus 320) but everything else doesnt have anything to do with airbus systems. its like if you would drive "need for speed" with a porsche and a toyota engine.. Sure, I hear what your saying Mickey, but the point is that it's not trying to be something it's not. Even Aerosoft have marketed as the perfect add on that plugs the gap between a default aircraft and the 'grown up' planes, such as those from PMDG. As long as it's seen as such then I think that's OK, however if someone buys it under the impression that it's going to be a worthy contender to the NGX, then of course they will sadly disappointed HowardMSI Mag B650 Tomahawk MB, Ryzen7-7800X3D CPU@5ghz, Arctic AIO II 360 cooler, Nvidia RTX4090 GPU, 32gb DDR5@6000Mhz, SSD/2Tb+SSD/500Gb+OS, Corsair 1000W PSU, LG Ultragear 48"4K, MFG Crosswinds, TQ6 Throttle, Fulcrum One YokeMy FlightSim YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@skyhigh776
