Moving FS9 from "Program Files(x86)" to a seperate folder

I asked this question at the TOPIC. Migrating FS9 from XP 32Bit to Windows 7 64Bit but have not received a reply as yet so I will ask here. I recently got a new computer W7 64 bit upgrade from 7 happy years with W/ XP.. Before reading posts here I installed FS9 in the default loaction Program Files(x86) and now have seen it is a no-no. I also installed a few of my old craft- the easy ones-- Carenado. Cal Classic, couple of POSKYs..Can I still move FS9 and those add-ons to a different folder? After which I will probably have more questions. :>)) Thanks, BIll

If it isn't causing you any problems, why bother? Perhaps turn User Account Control off to save yourself some headaches.

Well, Last night I had some tequila and decided to just move the FS9 folder. So I made a new folder C:W7 FS9 and that is where I put it. :>)Everything seems ok except when loading I got a message that "RxpSrv.dll" can not be found or something. so I took that .dll out of its folder.. temporarily at least. That works.. I wonder of RxpSrv.dll has to do with the fact that when I was moving from XP to W7 on my new computer, I re-installed the Dreamfleet Bonanza that had the RXP Garmin, etc and it did not transfer correctly so I uninstalled the aircraft and all the leftover files I could find. Maybe I missed a couple.
