I coulda sworn 777 was next. RSR mentioned moving people over to that project recently.

I believe the people who were in on the J41 will be one the Dash8, it may be other people on the 777. Who knows..... Steve

777 first I hope ;). And there is no certainty if they are even doing a Q400.. I certainly won't purchase the Dash if it's not the 400

As of now its the 200/300 series, majestic is doing the q400 so there really isn't any point for them to do the q400. I definitely will buy the 777 when its comes out but seriously they just did the 737 we need something different. Who knows maybe they will do both at the same time, they haven't confirmed anything as of now :-)

Looks like the J41 team is working on the Dash-8 and the NGX team should have started to do some work on the 777 already. Randazzo mentioned a few days (maybe weeks) before the NGX release that part of the NGX team had moved on to the next project.

Striking the tail of an aircraft does not result in termination of one's job. Usually the first thing to be done after the report is made and the damage is inspected is to pull the FDR. Worst case scenario is that the CA and or FO will be drug tested followed by an incident report. It would not be unlikely if the crew gets a free trip to HQ to have a fireside chat with the Chief Pilot.
