Hi John,guess Ferdy didn't like me putting "This file may not be uploaded to fsplanet.com" in my readme files Doesn't seem to stop him. If the file has been removed then I'd say they did their civic duty :-)I've just been banned from the FS Planet forums for requesting my Canadian Airlines B747 be removed from their site. Go figure!! This is from thier "Privacy Statement"The inclusion of any individual file from this archive in another archive without the prior permission of the author is prohibited.I guess it's not a 2 way street for themThe authors' rights and wishes concerning archives must be respected.YEAH RIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHTTTTT!!!!!! With all the wonderful technology and new kinds of software/programming coming about- isn't there or could there be a way to program a (zip?) file to ONLY be allowed to be uploaded to a certain ftp address?Something tells me it is possible somehow- but no one has come up with the code or whatever it takes to accomplish this. I mean look at resumable downloads, I'll bet someone thought one day "hey it would be cool if we could resume downloading a partially downloaded file" and whoalla- it was created!Just an idear!

1 Has IFDG, POSKY, FFX or other freeware group been set up or infiltrated by pro-Avsim activists seeking to control quality freeware while using it to force others to NOT support certain sites it is targetting to remove from the community because their continued growth poses a threat to their plans for dominance of the freeware and payware markets for money reasons?Yeah, Adam and I founded FFX just so we could promote Avsim...I wish someone would have told me that earlier...especially since we never associated with any large sites...we've been an SGA partner basically since we decided Geocities hosting sucked, and, uh, SGA and Avsim aren't what anyone would call 'on good terms,' but that's Mikey's problem, not mine...But the fact that he chose to put us on that list flatters me, too bad FFX didn't live to see it.I suppose he'll say the same about Kittyhawk once we're up and running...Maybe if this asshat would do some research, he'd see that most of us hate FSPlanet because of their less-than-honourable practices? I don't think this guy got a far go from Avsim! He advised the community about a vender canceling his Licence and when the vender found out about the post they contacted Avsim! Without rehashing this particular topic, AVSim was presented with facts, and the banning, which was unfortunate that it ended up in that situation, was inline with our policies.

That is the greatest load of nonsense I have read in years. I can't get over the amount of time it must have taken to write! It's actually quite amusing.Now, I really must give my support and say thank-you to Avsim for allowing me free and unimpeded access to all the freeware files I could possibly want.
