Piper Arrow IV Problem/glitch in VC cockpit after reinstall

Featured Replies

Hi, i just finished reinstalling fs9 and after adding the carenado arrow IV I experienced a glitch when using the VC view. It looks like the problem in this picture, only that it happens from the beginning (not only at night or with the lights on) and instead of this greenish color, i get a white color.I already tried reinstalling the software to no avail. Are there any solutions? ps i'm running win7 64 fsscr005-3.jpg

Hi there, maybe try the Flight1 VC-windows - fix they provide on their homepage! I had a similar issue with another plane! It only happens when it is raining out there! ;-)

Best regards,

LOL - don't get me started - the FS9 Arrow IV started Carenado's fall from grace for me... The Mooney they released before it was fantastic and I still fly it today... I purchasedf all their stuff prior to the Arrow IV and I never had any real significant issues... The Arrow IV in FS9 was horrible when released... Not visually - as it looked just as good as all of Carenado's stuff - it was the bugs you are experiencing above and the flight dynamics were really bad... This was the only FS product I have ever asked for my money back on - in over ten years of simming... I beleive there was a subsequent fix for your problem - as there was a huge thread of posts where people were trying to resolve the issues with this plane when it was released... I lost interest - so I don't recall specifically what it was... Maybe some subsequent patches fixed the issue ??? I'll see if I can find the thread...Regards,Scott
