Previously Saved Flight Failing to show in FMC CDU

Featured Replies

Just recently tried to save my first flight. Read on other posts about issues with loading flights in FSX but my issue seems slightly different -After saving a flight in FSX, when I attempt to reload it the aircrafts position is as expected, but the FMC CDU is without any previously programmed flight info/plan. Also, for some reason the landing gear is lowered even though the aircraft is at height. I have looked at loading a previous state, but no details of the previous file saved appear. From what I've read of the Tutorial 1 which I was following, it should be just a simple case of saving the flight through FSX and reloading?Noticed some failures in event viewer -PMDG_737NGS.dll version 1.0.0.0 Failing module - Exception code 0xc0000005 (though believe this is the failure I received when ending a flight)andMSCVCR90.dll Failing module

Do you by chance have fsx installed in c:program files(x86)? If so try running fsx a admin. could be a permissions issue & it was unable to write to the file.

FSX is installed in that location...but I am logged on as Administrator so thought FSX would run as admin anyway..

No, you'll still need to run it as admin

When you save a flight you assign a name to it in the FSX utility. When you load the flight, go to the FMC - Setup -> Load Pannel State -> [The name of your flight]So you should be able to restore your plane as it was before you safed.
