Wilco a320 inflight problem

Recommended Posts

I fly with the wilco a319 evo aircraft, more and more recently whilst in the cruise the aircraft losers the speed indication, throttles go to TOGA LK, Autopilot switches off and aircraft pitches up. I can recover the aircraft, but I don't know what is causing the problems. Anyone had the same? Any help?

Can you think of any reason why the aircraft might lose the speed indication ? This is obviously the root of the problem.

You need to make sure the Probe/Window Heat button is on. This should be on throughout the flight.

Thanks

Was thinking that it could be icing, but didn't think I had it turned on! I always thought that the window/probe heat was always on auto on the airbus aircraft. Going to have to look into the other anti-ice functions, anyone got any info on the airbus anti-Ice systems?

I can tell you that both the Probe Heat and Anti-ice buttons are purely cosmetic like in many other addons. You will still get the air speed issue, unless you turn the icing off either from the weather addon's options or from the registered FSUIPC.

Well I use the FSX version, and the Probe/Window heat button works just fine with it, I can't say for sure with the Wing and Anti-Ice system though.

Thanks

I assumed you were using FS9 since this FS9's forums. I never tried it with FSX, so I will take your word for it and I am glad you got it sorted out.
