First ever CTD with NGX

Recommended Posts

Post installing the NGX SP1 and 600/700 expansion I was descending to land at Sydney on a short hop from Coffs Harbour (flight time under an hour) when I decided to speed things up by increasing time compression to 4x. A couple of minutes later I thought I'd try 8x and upon clicking on "Options" in the FSX menu bar, experienced by first ever CTD with the NGX. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone have a fix? My system specs are in my signature.

You'll hate me for this... don't use time compression...Never used it to date, as it screws things up a lot... perhaps a bad interaction with the AP?Andrew

It was fine in 4x until I tried to click on the FSX menu to change it to 8x. Didn't get to change it because as soon as I clicked on the FSX menu, I got the CTD...

The a/c is certified to use up to 8x time compression. I've used time compression since it came out and never had one problem with it FWIW.Jim Burke
