PMDG, now you have to produce an ATC

Featured Replies

Considering the excellent quality of PMDG products and above all the classy and gorgeous NGX I really feel the needing to demand if PMDG could produce an ATC.FSX misses it and if you produced an ATC every, I repeat every FSX player will buy it for sure, despite the planes manufacturer loaded. You have the skill, the knowledge and you only could release a professional product. Also considering there is pretty much no other competitor apart the ancient Radar Contact.Mr. Randazzo, could you please take it into consideration ? smile.pngThx

You are a hijacker tongue.pngSeriously, the main issue about 777 is that the simulation rate limited to 4X or 8X. How can you fly for 10 hours doing pretty much nothing ? I have to take a day of vacation at work if I want to hit Beijing from Rome f.i.

Or if you won´t have no empty airport.....fly with Radar Contact. Best there is if you fly OFF-LINE./ Leffe

its not really PMDG speciality just because they make super planes does not mean they can or even want to do atc, the next version of radar contact will be a killer

I have never seen online ATC as a good/realistic alternative. There is hardly any controllers online on the routes I fly. So practically, it is usually online ATC = no ATC for me.Doruk Selçuk

he is right.for myself I use VoxATC offline ATC b/c there is one problem with that theory of "Online = the best ATC". with VATSIM / IVAO you don't always have ATC coverage.and rarely you have all 5 ATCs (Ground, Departure, Center/control, Approach, Tower) coverage for your entire route (end-to-end).with VoxATC and other like it , you are always covered. :)I stopped using VATSIM and/or IVAO as most of my flight(s) are in APAC (South-East Asia) , the online coverage in APAC virtuallydoes not exist.so the aforementioned statement made by doruks is realistically true, "online ATC = No ATC" is far worse then having a good AI ATC.if you wish you could read more about RC4 vs. PFE. at the following link, I reviewed two of the ATC products in the end VoxATC won the debate :)http://forum.avsim.n...628-pfe-or-rc4/

Do you have inside information about RC5? The author is silent since over a year and there are no mentions of progress or features? Please share your information.jos denis

Thats exactly why i dont care about long haulers like the 777. I repeat my mantra: stick with short to med range planes. An A320 would be great. Or some business Jet.

Why not ask PMDG to create an all new simulator. 64 bit, scalable, add-on friendly, oh-yeah.

That would be too much, even if from a marketing point view it would be a blockbuster because MS Flight is merely an arcade toy.An ATC would be easier to develop.Told that, thanks to the suggestions I saw above, I'll give them a try.
