Superclocked vs Regular Clock Video Card

Hi,Before I upgrade my Video Card from a GTX 285 to a GTX 570, I need to knowif I get better performance from an overclocked vs a regular clocked card??I was thinking of the Superclocked EVGA card or otherwise just the regular clocked one.It's 797mhz vs 732mhz, or can I achieve the same overclocking it myself.The overclocked cards are hard to find in my area at the moment and are $20 more expensive.Thanks,Helmut

I´ve upgarded to an EVGA GTX 560 superclocked yesterday. Looks pritty good to me. FSX doesn´t make it sweat on a clear day, only arround 40-60% PGU usage wheras my old GTX 260 (allready oc´ed) used to be at 100%.

Doesn't pay off for FSX. I overclocked my GTX580 to about 950mhz, and barely saw any improvement. And I didn't clock it "only" 60mhz...

Don't expect worlds between GTX285 and GTX570 if you stay on the same CPU, but it's gonna give you better overhead and better ability for antialiasing. I went from 285 -> 580.

Thanks Word Not Allowed,Yes, I installed the GTX 570, it was difficult, the size of this card is amazing, takes three slots, unfortunately nowmy Sound Card is no longer working, maybe I damaged it in the process.So far I have not played around with it.I sure hope I see some improvement, but this is more for the future.Thanks,Helmut
