Installed FS Manager 2.8.5 on my W98 and it installs. Does not install on Vista---receive error that I have to get a newer version. "285" is the newest.Is this utility NOT compatible with Vista?Doug

Have you tried a lower compatibility for the installer .exe? ( I never had vista ) Right click the .exe then compatibility tab & select a lesser version of windows.There may be some other settings too - "Run as Admin", "Disable Visual Themes" etc...Roman

Roman, sorry for delay: tried several Compatiblity settings and Admin; still get the message, even after reinstall.. The program does work on my W98SE. Will try it on my XP laptop.Doug
