My guess on anticipated "great announcement" in December:

Yes, your assumption fits you perfectly.
Again your reading comprehension is seriously lacking... I was responding to HowardHuges, who asked "And why are you posting things to do with Microsoft Office."To which I responded that "the general assumption that MS does not announce any beta publicly...." So I posted links to MS Flight SIm beta announcements as well as other MS product Beta announcements... JSkorna, either you cannot understand simple English conversations or you are intentionally taking everything out of context, which begs the question just exactly what is it you are trying to accomplish here?Everyone knows this is simply discussion, which we are all limited to only what MS has or hasn't given us to discuss...Yet you keep sailing right past the points being made, over and over and over and over again...

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

They didn't say 'great announcement' but 'exciting announcement'. So there goes your topic. You might want to start a new one? tongue.pngAnyway, in the marketing world every announcement is 'EXCITING', so I wouldn't count on something really special. happy.png

Public Beta:https://connect.microsoft.com/MGSBetasMy registration info is already dated back to 2006.In the past there have been 2 betas for flight simulator titles. The first is a private beta staffed by paid contract employees to test specific assignments. This is later joined by a public beta, that is "closed" in nature... you are invited to join. The above link may help identify you as a beta invitee if you complete the registration process. Currently there is no Flight beta listed.Dick

I think I'll apply for that.
