November 25, 201114 yr Hi,As we all know, 737 Cold and Dark cockpits tend to be, well, Cold and Dark! Only issue is, it's dark at night.Sometimes, I find myself opening the 2D panel(!), something I swore not to do as a virtual pilot, to find the BAT and Standby Power switches, so I can finally see!Is it possible to just model some light where ever your mouse is? That would be a life-saver for really anybody who flies at night, although I don't know if thats a difficult thing to do...Any thoughts?,
November 25, 201114 yr Brilliant idea!Aerosoft's heuy has a spotlight that illuminates dark scenery/building ect ( so in effect, where the light shines, it changes the texture's to day texture's )But whether this could be done in a cockpit im not sure.Plus gettin a light to follow the mouse, i think that could be quite hard to do.You would need a camera view that illuminated light i quess.Maybe something like a tower view, but placed inside the cockpit, with a small lamp behind with the same logics as the aerosoft one. Then you have to figure out how bind a lamp with a view.I like it though like you say dark is, dark. November 25, 201114 yr Author Err ahhhh why don't you just save your CnD with the lights on? Well, ya but whats the fun in that? But, in all seriousness, thats probably what I'll end up doing if the flashlight is impossible...

November 25, 201114 yr Or you could just set Day to turn the battery and the other lights on you may need then continue in Night?. Regards Michael Atherton
November 25, 201114 yr Author Or you could just set Day to turn the battery and the other lights on you may need then continue in Night?.I do this sometimes, but my FSX load time is usually 5+ minutes, IMO not really worth it to wait 5 minutes to flip 2 or 3 switches, then wait another 5 to get everything set up.
November 25, 201114 yr Hum, Well I'm still +1 about the Flashlight that would be so useful :(. Can't wait too more fruits that SP1b brings :D. Regards Michael Atherton
November 25, 201114 yr My Cold/Dark cockpit I can "just" see the BAT and Dome light switches ...and turn them on. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

If yes it is no wonder that you can't see the switches at night. Just turn the ENBSeries off (shift+F12), then turn the power and the lights on and the you can turn on the ENBSeries again. Problem solved Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
