Thank you for the NGX !

Recommended Posts

With this post I want to say thank you for the amazing NGX, what a joy it is to simulate real flights in this a/c !!Just completed a flight from Oslo-Gardermoen to Stockholm-Arlanda and below are 2 videos showing the end of the flight at ESSA the first one from the flight deck and the second one in a 'wing view' perspective, almost looks like the real thing !!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8weHYIQ-CZMhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewe6kx0Lbh0

Nice videos of landing at Arlanda:)) Yes the NGX is truly a masterpiece!I tried to fly some other jets today but they felt so..."antic" in VC & it wasn't fun anymore. I guess my standards has risen considerably! We are really being spoiled with the NGXLOL.gif Thanx PMDG!

Thanks guys and yes...FSX instant replay sucks not showing flaps nor the speedbrakes.

Try FSrecorder it will show you all eyecandies during the record & you can replay back & forth in the same recording...so you can watch your landing a 100 times...it's much better then the default one!

Nice landings, where those landings manual? BTW, no need to say all the time that the NGX is a masterpiece, I think that's obvious already. :(

Thanks, I'll check that out! Is it freeware or a pay ware product?

Yes, they were manual but according to the PAPI I was a little bit low but felt OK so not sure how trustworthy those lights are in FS.And you're right, that the NGX is a masterpiece isn't really any news :(
Nice video love tha whine sound its music to my ears
That makes us two!

Found FSRecorder and just tried it out and seems to be a great tool so thanks a lot for pointing it out to me !!One question though, when I looked at my flight using the replay function the speedbrakes nor the engine reversers worked visually...the flaps and ailerons did though. Any idea if these are supposed to work with the NGX when watching a replay using FSRecorder?

The thing is you have to re arm the spoilers either after landing, & then play the recording, or "during the recording".....:)))Then the spoilers will work in the recording & you can spool back & forth(like in an DVD) & watch your landing from different views....:))) The trust reversers work for me.. I think ther's a menu you have to ckeck wich things you want the recorder to record. There are much more functions too, that I don't know about, the best thing is to get over to their forum & read all the docs & tips:))
