Service/Maintenance?

Hi guys just a quick question...Under failures:In the NGX as the "next service in xxx hrs" number gets smaller, does this mean that the 'mean time before failure' (MTBF) increases? Also, does a lower amount of hours before next scheduled service eg 5 hours result in an aircraft that is more 'worn' or likely to have problems?Joel Fraseer

Hi Joel,simple answer Yes the lower the number the higer the changes to errors to related aircraft systems.So if you have 5 hours left for service you better service the airplane because you don't want to lose systems in the air.Regards,Niels van den Berg
