December 6, 201114 yr Hi,I just flew from NTAA to NFTF and now am flying from NFTF to YBBN spending way to much money I do not have on scenery when I cant even see it flying the MD11. Anyway here is the problem. I have been using RC4.3 for years now w/o this problem. On the way in to NFTF Fu'uamotu in Tonga which is uncontrolled I was getting standard let down altitudes untill I got cleared from 180 to 6000 feet with no descent restriction. I always get a get down in 30 miles or less restriction but not this time. Then nothing from the controller at all and no "leave the freq to get weather" dialog either. No vectors or nothing. So I flew the full VOR and noticed at some point the menu had "advise field in sight" on it. I did not select that because I did not choose a visual approach, I did not even hear from RC about an approach to expect, nothing. This is the first uncontrolled field I have flown into with RC but I figured it would still go through the weather and approach selection right. Maybe not.Now on departure from NFTF I got my clearance from FSS and departed and contacted center. After contacting Nadi control I heard nothing for 5 minutes and then heard an acknowledgment. But from then on I got no climbs and heard nothing from ATC. I had to request my way up to FL340 and even doing that they would tell me to contact such and such and my FO would read it back but then no dialog contacting the new controller. In fact as I fly along right now it has been an hour and I have heard no dialog. Either the sound wavs are not playing or nothing is happening. I can still request things but its i like RC cannot see my aircraft. Marc Lynn
December 6, 201114 yr Author Ahh I am so stupid, I forgot to input my transponder code! Normally they say not receiving your squawk. As soon as I put in my assigned code I wrote down I had the "with you" stuff pop on.Sorry Marc Lynn
