Lost my GPS

When I hit the GPS symbol in the cockpit of any aircraft including default, I no longer have GPS. How can I "reinstall" the default GPS systems???

Try either shift-3 in the default Baron or Alt/Views/etc to get to the GPS windowIf all you get is a black window, you have lost your fs9gps gauge which should be in your Gauges folder.

No, it was totally gone......What I ended up doing was copy my FS9/gauges/ GPS .cab to FSX and it seems to be working. But I have no idea why I lost it in the first place.
