Recommended Posts

Guest durangoflyer

Can't seem to figure out how to set my hat switch up on my joystick to be able to free look around the 3D cockpit. Any tips?

Bind a key to go to the "3-D Cockpit Cmnmd-look" to take you to that view then try binding the hat left/right/up/down button to the General Rotate Left/Right/Up/Down commands (q/e/r/f keys on the keyboard)

First of all, make sure you're in "3D Cockpit: Command Look" (shortcut SHIFT-9).If you're using Windows then you should be able to bind the button inputs to "General command: left/right/up/down".If you're using Linux then see the following thread:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/356170-x-plane-10-how-to-get-your-hatswitch-working-properly-in-linux/If you're using Mac OS then I have no idea.

That was it. General commands. I was trying different combinations in the view group. Thanks!
